Creating your first Media image

Upload a product photo, describe the scene you want, and click Imagine. Here's how:

Step-by-step guide

  1. Open the Geppetto tab
    • From the dashboard, click the Geppetto tab in the main navigation.
    • Then click the yellow Create Media button in the top-right corner. The Create Media page opens in a new browser tab.
  2. Upload your product images
    • Drag and drop your product photos into the Product Images area, or click to upload.
    • Pro tip: Upload 2–3 images for best results (you can add up to 4). Multiple angles help the AI understand the product better.
    • Each uploaded image appears as a thumbnail. Click the X on any thumbnail to remove it.
  3. Describe the scene (optional)
    • In Describe Scene, type the setting you want — for example, "lakeside picnic at golden hour" or "modern open-plan office, daylight."
    • The more detail, the more accurate the result.
  4. Add product details (optional, but recommended)
    • In Product Details, add specifics like size, material, or function — "24 oz insulated stainless steel" or "cotton tote with leather handles."
    • Pro tip: For the best quality and accurate proportions, include product dimensions when you have them. Keep details minimal — size, material, and function only — extra unrelated info can confuse the AI.
  5. Add a model (optional)
    • Click Add Model if you want a person in the scene.
    • Either pick a model from your team's Recent Models or create a new one (name + description).
    • Only one model per generation. Click the X on the chip to remove.
  6. Click Imagine
    • The Imagine button activates as soon as you've uploaded at least one product image.
    • Generation takes about 1.5–2 minutes. You can navigate away and come back — the image will be waiting in your Media Gallery.

Quick tips

  • Each generation uses credits. Your remaining balance is shown next to the Imagine button.

  • You can kick off more generations while one is still processing — each one shows its own loader in the Gallery.

  • Once your image is ready, it opens in the Image Editor so you can refine specific parts with AI Edit, regenerate it with ReImagine, turn it into an Auto-brand Template, or add a logo. Learn more about the Image Editor.

That's it — you've made your first Media image. Now go make a hundred more.
