How do I create a brand?

Having great logo files makes creating your brand super easy. Here's what we mean by "great":

Your files should:

  • Have color (not white-only!) and look good on a white background.

  • Be high-quality (bigger than 500 px recommended).

  • Have transparent backgrounds if your logo includes white elements (PNG format works best!).

If you want to dive deeper, check out our guide for logos best practices!

Step-by-step guide:

1. Add your brand

  • Go to the Brands tab at the top.

  • Click the Add Brand button (top-right corner).

  • Type your brand name, then click Create Brand.

2. Upload your logos

Upload your logos here, remembering these tips:

  • For best results, use two versions:

    • Primary logo — will be matched to horizontal imprint areas.

    • Icon logo — will be matched to squared imprint areas.

Quick FAQs:

  • Only have an icon? Upload it in the left box.

  • No need to upload the same (or almost identical) file twice!

Here's an example using the Google brand:

Once uploaded, click Next.

3. Review logo variations

You'll see four logo variations, exactly like this:

  • Multi Color Logo | Light Background: this should match what you'd print on a white t-shirt.

  • Light Color Logo | Dark Background: this should match what you'd print on a black t-shirt.

  • Brand Color Background: Would you ever suggest a colorful t-shirt? Set that color as a background!

  • Black Logo: this one should ALWAYS be black, trust us. It'll be used by our system as code for cases of engraving, debossing, and similar methods.

These variations guide our system to pick the best art for each product and printing method. Make sure everything looks good, as this is how the system decides what to use in each scenario!

Once satisfied, click Approve. If you've added an icon logo, repeat these steps.

Pro tip: Keep your icon and primary logo brand colors consistent for best results!
