Presentation Settings: Tool Preferences
The Settings tab now includes a Tool Preferences section.
This guide covers two key controls managed here: decoration methods and supplier limits in the search engine.
Decoration Methods
This setting controls which imprint methods appear in the product carousel of your Presentations.
How it works:
- All methods are selected by default
- Deselect any options your company doesn’t offer
- Changes apply to all Presentations—past and present
- If no methods are selected, the decoration carousel will be hidden
This ensures your decks only show decoration methods that align with your company's offering.
Supplier Filtering
For Distributors, this optional setting lets you limit which suppliers are available in the Presentations search engine. Suppliers can also use this feature to limit the offering, but it's best to reach out to support@merch.ai :)
Heads-up: If you’re a distributor, we recommend keeping a broad supplier list. The AI engine relies on a wide product pool to generate the best results—over-filtering may reduce quality or variety.
What about Public Tools?
Some sections on the Settings tab may mention tools like Public Presentations or Lookbooks. If those aren’t part of your plan, you can ignore them.
