What is the Public Presentations tool?
A branded, self-serve tool that lets distributors explore your products and build branded presentations—directly from your website.
How distributors use it
Distributors can interact with your product catalog within your brand environment, using your logo and colors. The tool includes AI-powered search, automatic and customizable product branding, featuring the distributor’s brand of course. Distributors can add their logo and their contact details before sharing the final presentation.
To use the tool, distributors simply sign up, upload a client logo, browse your products, add items to their deck, and personalize it before sharing.
Why it matters for suppliers:
Public Presentations enables scalable outreach. Distributors handle the prep work themselves, saving your team time. Presentations stay on-brand and accurate since they’re built using your product data. You can manage limits, filter supplier access, and monitor usage—all from the Settings tab in Tool Preferences.
Need-to-knows
- Track external users in the Users tab.
- In the Billing section, set limits for Public Presentations created in the last 30 days.
- Use Advanced Controls to allow exceptions for certain users.
- Restrict hosting domains if needed in the Advanced Controls section.
How is it different from the internal Presentations tool:
Internal users are part of your Merch.ai account. Public Presentations are for external distributors, with self-signup and limited access.
