Using AI Edit to refine your image

Need to fix a hand, swap the background, or tweak one detail? AI Edit lets you change specific parts of your image — without regenerating from scratch.

AI Edit is your scalpel, not your sledgehammer. Use it when you mostly love the image but want to fix or adjust a specific part. For full regeneration, use [ReImagine](TBD-link) instead.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Open AI Edit on your image. In the Image Editor, click the AI Edit tab.

  2. (Optional) Mark the area you want to change. Draw a lasso around it. If you skip this, AI Edit will use your prompt to figure out what to change.

  3. (Optional) Pick a theme. The Choose Option dropdown — Scene, Background, Gender, Nationality, or Selected Area — adds extra context for the AI.

  4. Describe the change in the prompt (required). Be specific. Examples:

    • Change the background to a sunny beach boardwalk"

    • "Remove the extra logo from the mug"

    • "Make the model wear a navy blue blazer"

  5. Click Imagine. AI Edit uses credits, takes a moment, and saves the result as a new asset in your Gallery. Your original image stays put.

Quick tips

  • Your original image is preserved. Every AI Edit creates a new asset — you can always go back to the previous version in your Media Gallery.
  • Pick the right tool for the job. AI Edit is for targeted changes — fix a detail, swap a background, remove a stray logo or watermark. For a totally different scene, use ReImagine. To add a brand logo as a one-time imprint, use Add Logo.
  • Heads up: AI may slightly adjust other parts of the image to keep the result looking natural — that's expected.
That's it — your image is sharper, cleaner, or just plain better. Ship it.
