What are the logos best practices?
Adding the right logos will go a long way in making your products look the most realistic.
The most important thing you could do to ensure a high quality output is to use the best logos possible for your brands. Here we will tell you some best practices and what you should avoid.
Horizontal - Primary Logo
The primary logo is used in the majority of the products. The best primary logos have the following characteristics:
- Horizontal
- Non-white letters
- No extra white spaces
- No extra text phrases
- High definition (non-blurry)
- .jpg, .png, .webp, .svg, .eps, .pdf, .ai formats
You could use non-horizontal logos and it can still look good, but horizontal is preferred.
Icon - Secondary Logo
The secondary logo will add variety to your presentations. If you don't upload one, we will use the primary for everything. The secondary logo works best when:
- Squared
- Simple
- High definition (non-blurry)
- .jpg, .png, .webp, .svg, .eps, .pdf, .ai formats
Logos With Complexities
Some of the logos below can cause issues. Sometimes they will still work but the product will not be used in its maximum potential.
Emblems
Emblems can be very complex images with a lot of details, so we recommend using a vector file for them so we can process them better. Still, there might be a need for you to manually create your logo variations (Multicolor - Dark, Multicolor - Reversed, One Color - Light) and upload them.
Gradients and Many Colors
Logos with gradients or more than 5 colors will be simplified and the amount of colors reduced.
Logos To Avoid
White Text and/or Background Color
There are no fixes for this, you should not use images with a colored background and/or white text. It will make a lot of the logo versions unusable.
Low Resolution
Logos that have low resolution and look fuzzy will naturally not look good on products. Please avoid them at all costs!
Extra Information
Avoid logos that have multiple logos in them, extra information, etc.
